There are some down sides of losing weight. One being that I have less body fat to keep me warm. Bummer. Another one is none of my clothes fit. Yes it is great that I've lost weight and that is why they don't fit versus me gaining weight and that is why they don't fit. But when you can't really afford to buy new clothes and/or you don't want to buy new clothes because you are still losing...that my friends is the real bummer in all of this. Most of my clothes are in great shape still so if you want any of the clothes in this blog update (or previous updates) let me know and I will gladly pass them off to you. Side note - all my pants have been hemmed so unless you are about my height (which is doubtful) you will end up with funny looking capris. On that note, like previous blog updates about clothes, Young Life friends - I am not too proud to ask for any area tshirts that you are willing to send me if you are a volunteer or on field staff. Property staff friends, I will gladly accept any current or old property tshirts from the camp store or lost and found auctions. Same go for sweatshirts. I am not too proud to ask for such things. I will pay you in a thank you note and a hug. Or in money if you prefer. And thanks again to Lynsie McDaniel who sent me some pretty awesome shirts the last time I updated the blog about clothes with such a request. And a special thanks to Kory and Sara for sending me shirts from the WFR dollar sale for Christmas. Some of those shirts I've already shrunk out of! I am currently wearing smalls, but have 23 pounds to go and guessing I'll be wearing extra smalls when I get to my goal weight. So in case you're wondering, I would gladly except either size for tshirts and smalls in sweatshirts! No pressure though!
Old pants on the left - size 6. My sister-in-law, Amber, gladly
passed off her size 4 jeans (on the right) to me. Thanks Amber!
Medium workout clothes. I'm pretty much a size small in
just about everything now. Definitely exciting.
Four medium tshirts. The bottom two shirts are from
the WFR camp store. The top right shirt Kory and Sara
picked up for me at the WFR auction/dollar sale. These
four shirts are my last tshirts from WFR/Oregon. Very
sad for me for sure. I hated taking them out of my rotation!
Green WFR hoodie and Capernaum hoodie. Both medium.
Last WFR & Capernaum items to be taken out of my wardrobe.
Another sad fact. Real sad. The green hoodie has already been
claimed by my niece, Abby.
Green sweater from Old Navy and brown and white striped
sweater from Gap. Both medium.
One long sleeve (maroon) tshirt from Old Navy and three
short sleeve tshirts from Target.
Four medium tanks from Target.
A very full bin!!
This is it for now. I'm sure I'll more pictures will be coming before too long. Thanks for stopping in. And for those of you who are wondering - work is getting better! I'm getting the hang of things and slowly feeling like I'm learning my way around and knowing my place. More later, I'm sure.
All in.
